We are the parents of three young children, we both work and live in Nantes. City life and its daily routine mean that my husband and I have very little time to get together. So from time to time, we appreciate it when our parents look after their grandchildren and allow us to share some time together. La Vendée is an ideal destination, as it can be reached in just over an hour. With excellent road links, we particularly like to go to the seaside, especially as we can get there quickly. This time, our getaway will take us to the coast of light in Vendée, in Jard sur Mer to be more precise, between Les Sables d'Olonne and La Tranche sur Mer to spend a close weekend of the beach.
We're going to stay at Le Bosquet campsite. We really like this family-run campsite, not least because of its location. We'll be able to walk around this charming seaside resort and see the sea several times a day, filling our lungs with the delicious iodine air. That's the advantage of choosing a campsite near beach at Vendée, we need to be able to make the most of it during our weekend.
