This year all the conditions were right for us to have a great holiday. We were lucky enough to be able to go away with our grandchildren. We had to find a campsite located in seaside but with certain requirements, such as the fact that it must be calm which means not too noisy, as our grandchildren are quite young and need to have a nap and go to bed early enough without being disturbed. Our other requirement was that it be located in VendéeWe haven't been back for two years.

It's not easy to find a campsite like this, because all the campsites insist in their advertisements, their texts or more generally in their communications that they are quiet. After doing a bit of research, we came across a small campsite in the Vendée in seaside 100 m from the beach, with a reasonable number of mobile homes and chalets to rent.

We felt that we absolutely had to find a small campsite in the Vendée of this type, you know, a small campsite where the owner knows practically all the campers personally. This is generally a good criterion if you want to spend your holidays in a quiet location.
We were immediately pleasantly surprised by the family atmosphere. Little or no entertainment doesn't mean that there weren't any activities or activities to enjoy. leisureOn the contrary! The fact that the sea is just 100 m away was also a bonus, as it meant that we could go swimming with our grandchildren quite easily without having to use any particular means of transport, either on foot or by car. bikequite simply.

As we said in our e-mail quiet campsite doesn't mean it's boring and there's nothing to do. We were able to keep our grandchildren occupied outside the campsite as it is very close to the town centre, where they spent a fair amount of time. There's no swimming pool inside the campsite, so you can deduce that it's religiously quiet, and if you want to go for a swim then head for the seaside, just 100 metres away!

After staying here for a fortnight, we realised just how quiet and peaceful it was inside this campsite in the Vendée. We recommend this campsite to all grandparents. The campsite is nestled in the heights of a small pine forest overlooking the town. The only sounds you'll hear are those of the birds, the wind blowing through the pines and sometimes the waves gently lapping on the warm sand of the seaside.

Yes, it looks like a postcard setting, but that's what we experienced, so we wanted to share it with you!
