Every time, our holidays are about simplicity and small pleasures. We're not big fans of large, often overcrowded structures. In short, it's not our style at all. We're more interested in a friendly campsite on a human scale, preferably in seaside at Vendée.
Head for the seaside in the Vendée!
We love the Vendée more than anything. It's such a treasure trove that even though we come here every year, we're always discovering something new. This year, we chose the camping le Bosquet for our seaside getaway. This small, friendly campsite lived up to our expectations in every way. At this campsite, we could converse easily with the other holidaymakers, without being interrupted by the heady music that was supposed to bring us closer to the others. I can tell you, I'm rather put off by that!
Camping le Bosquet, a friendly campsite
The campsite we've just booked at offers pitches and various types of accommodation. This year, we're going to try theecolodge. This atypical accommodation is a good compromise between a tent and a mobile home. What's more, we'll still be so close to nature. I must admit I love hearing the rustling of the leaves and the birds singing as a wake-up call in the morning. And it's always nicer and friendlier to bump into your neighbours than to stay cooped up in accommodation for the duration of your stay.
We can't wait to disembark in Jard sur Mer, in the Vendée! Le seaside for water sports and relaxation. Pedestrianised streets and markets to discover the local flavours. Walks through the forest and marshes are just a few pedal strokes away. And don't forget the famous seaside resorts nearby, such as Les Sables d'Olonne, Longeville sur Mer and La Tranche sur Mer.
