We opted forecolodgeA rather unusual type of accommodation. It's a very interesting mix, as we were able to enjoy all the comforts (2 bedrooms with beds and a kitchenette) while having a limited impact on nature (no running water or heating), and all at a very attractive price.
As for our choice of location, we wanted to stay at near Les Sables d'Olonne because as well as choosing a nature campingBut we also had to visit some places that were close to our hearts. Like the marshes, the Olonne national forest, the Côte Sauvage... so many landscapes that we were able to cross on our bikes. We also took the children to the EcoZoo in Les Sables d'Olonne, and they loved meeting some of the protected species, as well as learning about their ecological actions and eco-conservation awareness.
It was a perfect, peaceful holiday. It was the ideal place to recharge our batteries and get together as a family. We have wonderful memories of it and are ready to return next summer.
