Nestling in the heart of the town, Talmont Saint Hilaire boasts a magnificent château whose foundations date back to the 11th century. Listed as a historic monument since 2009, you can visit this splendid building and, during the summer months, watch the equestrian shows that tell the story of Richard the Lionheart. Various medieval workshops are also on offer to help you immerse yourself in the medieval world, including a knight's trail and an introduction to crossbow shooting.
